Our two main clients, the Shoprite Group (Shoprite, Checkers, Checkers Hyper and U-Save) and the SPAR Group (Super SPAR, Redline and Kwik SPAR), according to the latest Nielsen market research for the year to October 2009, cover 54.4% of the RSA retail market. This means that over 50% of the groceries bought in RSA are rung up on our front end Storeline software and supported by our professional services.
In 2011, Trade Link split into three companies, still operating under the Trade Link banner, to enable each company to focus on specific services within the FMCG market. Trade Link Retail Systems Pty (Ltd) continues to focus on our SPAR installations and support. Trade Link Software Services (Pty) Ltd offers all our clients our Development, QA, Project Management and support services, while Trade Link Rental Administration (Pty) Ltd looks after the group finances.
We have regional offices in Gauteng, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Durban. Our branch offices are located in East London, Bloemfontein, Nelspruit, Botswana and Namibia. We employ over 80 skilled people, including retail consultants, developers, and support staff. Our focus on the retail sector has allowed us to build specific consulting expertise and focus on providing tailored, development and support driven solutions, covering large corporate retailers (SPAR, Shoprite), smaller retail groups and distribution centers. Trade Link retail systems dominate the POS market in Zimbabwe.
