Primary Distribution - Warehousing

ID Logistics SA currently manages five warehouses in South Africa which include Port Elizabeth, Cape Town, Atlas (Gauteng), Boksburg and Durban covering a total space of 50 000 sqm, and the capacity to handle up to 15 000 pallets.

Chilled Distribution Network

  • 12 cross docks and regional distribution centres across 8 provinces in South Africa.
  • Deliveries between 24 and 48 hours with nearly 90% of our customers’ deliveries done in 24 hours.
  • Export to our customer agents in Botswana, Namibia and Swaziland.
  • Election of hauliers in line with our global standards.
  • Daily stock replenishment fleets between stockholding facilities, and daily shuttles between these facilities and the cross docks.

Secondary Distribution

The company has developed a strong secondary distribution network over the past few years to ensure that their customers’ logistics are covered throughout South Africa. With 5 stockholding sites in Gauteng, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Durban and George and 12 cross-docks across the country, they have developed secondary distribution by partnering with selected hauliers to deploy national fleet of delivery vehicles.

Their 200 state-of-art trucks are equipped with GPS to track goods, temperature checks and real-time alerts to their transportation towers.
